Jeanuel Belocian joins Wolfsburg on loan

Bayer 04 have agreed a loan deal for Jeanuel Belocian to join fellow Bundesliga club Wolfsburg on loan until the end of the season. The 20-year-old defender’s contract in Leverkusen runs until 30 June 2029.

Werkself review #SGEB04: ‘Ice cold’ for third win in a row

The Werkself were impressive in the 3-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt with clinical finishing and a first half "at a high level" that head coach Kasper Hjulmand draws a lot of positives from. The same should apply to Arthur, who scored for the first time in the Bundesliga. Edmond Tapsoba, for his part, was happy about his 250th appearance in a Bayer 04 jersey. Clinical Werkself keep Eintracht Frankfurt at bay with 3-1 win

Thanks to a 3-1 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer 04 have secured their third win in a row in their last three games. The impressive conversion of chances gave Bayer 04 a 2-0 lead at half-time on Bundesliga matchday 20 with goals cored by Arthur (26) and Malik Tillman (33). After Eintracht pulled a goal back scored by Robin Koch (50'), the Black and Reds bravely withstood Frankfurt's attacks before Aleix Garcia scored in stoppage time (90+3’) for the Werkself, who had a man extra after Ellyes Skhiri's was shown a second yellow card (70').

Hjulmand: ‘Football is a reflection of life’ | Werkself-Magazin #54

Kasper Hjulmand has led the Werkself back to winning ways and is back in the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League with Bayer 04 after the 3-0 win against Villarreal on Wednesday evening.
