Christian Beckers – Head of support staff

Christian Beckers joined Bayer Leverkusen as a youth player at the tender age of twelve. For nine years, he played for the Werkself’s junior teams and on the second team. Although his athletic career eventually took him away from Leverkusen, “Becks” remained deeply connected to the black-and-red colors in his professional life. After completing an apprenticeship as a sports and fitness manager, the Düsseldorf native began working in warehouse management in 2009 before taking on his current role as equipment manager for the men’s first team in 2015.
