Martin Kowatzki – Support staff

Martin Kowatzki has been with Bayer 04 since 2007—but his connection to the black-and-red colors goes back much further. A native of Leverkusen, he has been a fan of the Werkself since childhood. He puts a great deal of passion into his multifaceted work. After completing an apprenticeship as a sports and fitness sales representative and earning a degree in sports management, Kowatzki began working as an equipment manager and support staff member for the men’s first team at the start of the 2015–16 season. He also lives out his passion for the black and red as the club archivist and a collector of Bayer 04 jerseys and memorabilia. A true Werkself original!
