The open sale of season cards for the Werkself home games in the new Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga season has started. Register now: Fan trip to Women's opening fixture at the Allianz Arena
A record stage for the Bayer 04 Women in Munich – and Werkself fans can see the game live. When the new season in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga is officially opened on Saturday, 6 September (17:45 CEST) the Leverkusen women will be playing against Bayern Munich in front of 30,000 spectators at the Allianz Arena. It is already certain that so many fans have never before been at a home game for the double winners from Munich. And the Black and Reds have never played in front of that many fans before either and they will be looking for the backing of their own support. Bayer 04's service department reorganised
The 2023/24 double-winning season set new standards. Bayer 04 faced a number of challenges not only in sporting terms, but also operationally due to the increased number of enquiries. Unfortunately, the service provided was not always exemplary. In the meantime, however, the club has gone through a restructuring process. In recent months, not only have many organisational matters been initiated, but technical components have also been further developed - with a clear goal: to provide fast, competent and comprehensive help and information. Continuity under the Cross: After the successful season in 2024/25 with reaching the final of the VBL Club Championship, the two Leverkusen e-sports players Marc and Sean Landwehr have extended their contracts at Bayer 04 by an additional two years. Marc is thereby in his sixth year and Sean in his third year with the Werkself. Together with e-talent Marcus Hüttemann, who has also extended his stay at Bayer 04 Bayer year, completes the current squad for the 2025/26 season.

A brilliant weekend for the Leverkusen eSports players at the VBL CC finals in Cologne ended without the deserved reward. After the first day of the tournament with only victories in the group phase, Marc and Sean Landwehr overcame last year's champions SC Paderborn 07 at the semi-final stage on Sunday – but then lost in the final to the now sole VBL CC record champions RB Leipzig. Two days before the Bundestag elections, a democracy workshop initiated by Bayer 04 and organised in cooperation with the German Football League (DFL) took place on Friday 21 February at the BayArena for a class from the Leverkusen Realschule am Stadtpark. Bayer 04 Leverkusen continue cooperation with proven sleeve partner Talcid in the coming DFB Pokal campaign. In the current season, the famous Bayer brand – starting with the first round tie at Baden-Württemberg Regional League side SG Sonnenhof Großaspach on Friday – will be displayed with the historic chameleon logo on the right sleeve of the Werkself players jerseys. Dannenberg to head Bayer 04 Campus project
Anne Dannenberg took over the management of TecArena-Plus GmbH, a fully owned subsidiary of Bayer 04 Leverkusen GmbH, on 1 August 2025. She follows on from Ulrich Wölfer who left the company on 31 July 2025. Wölfer took over the management of TecArena-Plus GmbH in 2021 to start planning for an alternative, central and sustainable Bayer 04 venue. That task, which has developed into a concrete building project as the Bayer 04 Campus, is now the main responsibility for Dannenberg.

Sponsor Club partner STIGA extends deal
Bayer 04 Leverkusen and the leading gardening equipment manufacturer STIGA have extended their successful partnership. As an official partner in the Sponsors Club of the Champions League participants, STIGA has already provided support to the Bayer 04 ground staff in the maintenance of the pitch at the BayArena as well as the other club training grounds. Under the new agreement, the company, based in Straelen in North Rhine Westphalia, has agreed a two-year extension with the current Bundesliga runners-up and 2024 double winners. The contract now runs to 30 June 2027.

The German double winners’ special-edition jersey to mark the club’s 120th anniversary is reminiscent of the first kit worn by players back in the 1907/08 season. The 2023/24 season was a historic one in many respects for Bayer 04. The Werkself were crowned champions for the first time in their history, lifted the DFB Pokal for the second time after 1993, and reached a European final for the third time after the UEFA Cup triumph of 1988 and 2002 Champions League runners-up finish. Moderate price revision in public catering at the BayArena
Bayer 04 and catering partner Bayer Gastronomie have revised the public catering offer at the BayArena. A moderate price revision has become unavoidable due to increased raw material, energy and staff costs. Beer will now cost €5.10 (plus 20 cents) and Bratwurst €4.40 (plus 10 cents).

‘Positive and profitable exchange’: Thiel on DFB goalkeeping coaches meeting at the BayArena
Analysing and further developing goalkeeping together is the target of the annual goalkeeping coaches meeting of the German Football Association (DFB). The goalkeeping coaches in the Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2 and the third division, divided into regional groups, meet every year under the guidance of DFB goalkeeping coordinator Marc Ziegler. Following 2023, the meeting of the goalkeeping coaches of professional clubs from the Western region took place yesterday, Tuesday 29 April, at the BayArena for the second time. The Werkself goalkeeping coach David Thiel acted as the host of the meeting and he made an impromptu contribution.
