Ill-Han Yu – Head physiotherapist

Ill-Han Yu completed a three-year apprenticeship as a state-certified physical therapist at medicoreha Welsink GmbH in Neuss in 2012. Immediately afterward, he began working at medicoreha, where he served as a physical therapist for Borussia Mönchengladbach’s youth teams, from the U15 to the U19 levels.

In January 2018, Yu moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the same role, where he has since been working with the men’s first team. Since the start of the 2022/23 season, he has been the head physiotherapist.
