Jonas Schmitt – Physiotherapist

Jonas Schmitt completed his training as a physical therapist at the Bringmann Academy in Bad Wildungen, Hesse, and successfully earned both a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy (THIM School of Physiotherapy, Utrecht, Netherlands) and an M.Sc. in Sports Physiotherapy (German Sport University, Cologne).

After gaining practical experience through part-time jobs during his studies, Schmitt worked with FC Viktoria Köln’s U19 team during the 2019/20 season. In August 2020, he made the move to Bayer 04. In Leverkusen, he began as a physiotherapist with the U15 team; after one season, Schmitt was promoted to the U19 team. Since July 2023, he has been part of the physiotherapy team for the men’s first team.
