Sven Elsinger – Head of physiotherapy and rehabilitation

Sven Elsinger took his first steps as a physical therapist in professional sports in the early 1990s with the second-division club SV Darmstadt 98. Between 1993 and 2009, he gained valuable experience at the highest international level with several German youth national teams at a total of ten World and European Championships before joining Bayer 04’s men’s first team in 2008. At Bayer 04, Elsinger initially served as head physical therapist and took over as head of physiotherapy and rehabilitation for the 2025/26 season.
