Schick fires Werkself to 2-1 derby win in Cologne
Patrik Schick's brace fired Bayer 04 Leverkusen to a 2-1 victory at 1. FC Köln on Bundesliga Matchday 31 and a fifth consecutive victory against their local rivals. The Czech netted the opening goal with a penalty shortly before half-time and doubled the lead soon after the restart with his 100th competitive goal for the Werkself. Luca Waldschmidt reduced the deficit for the hosts, whose five-match unbeaten run came to an end. In further good news, Arthur and Eliesse Ben Seghir made comebacks from injury.
