DFB-Pokal

Bayer 04 have reached the final of the domestic cup competition at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin three times. In 1993 the Werkself lifted the trophy after a 1-0 win against the Hertha Berlin Amateurs thanks to a goal from Ulf Kirsten. The other two finals ended in defeat in 2002 against Schalke 04 (2-4) and in 2009 against Werder Bremen (0-1).
