Women: Ida Daedelow signs professional contract
Bayer 04 Leverkusen have handed academy product Ida Daedelow a professional contract. The 17-year-old central midfielder, who's been with the Werkself since 2019, has signed until 30 June 2025 and will be part of the squad for the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga from now on.

Sydney FC U19s in Leverkusen: ‘I've never experienced anything like it’
The U19 team of Australian club Sydney FC spent an eventful day at Bayer 04 ahead of Easter weekend as part of an upcoming tournament in Düsseldorf. The visit to a training session with the Werkself first team was followed by a match with the Leverkusen youngsters at the Kurtekotten performance centre. The boss of the Australian first division team, who had travelled with and is no stranger to football in Germany, drew a very positive conclusion of his time at Bayer 04.

For 2024/25 season: Adjustment to ticket prices
After many years of price stability, Bayer 04 is increasing ticket prices for the first time again for the 2024/25 season. By adjusting the prices for season and match tickets, the double winners will return to the level of the season before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in many areas. There will only be minor changes for children's and standing tickets.

Special train for fans to DFB Cup final in Berlin
On 25 May, the Werkself have the chance to follow up their Bundesliga title by winning the DFB Cup. The many travelling Bayer 04 fan are set to provide the necessary support for the clash against 1. FC Kaiserslautern. So that as many of you as possible can create an unforgettable atmosphere on the day, the Bayer 04 Club is offering travel for all holders of a ticket for the cup final. Supporters without a valid ticket are not entitled to apply for a place on the special train.

An opportunity for young talented players: In cooperation with the Academy of eSports, Bayer 04 have set up the B04eAcademy under the Cross. The aim is to offer young and ambitious talents the opportunity to earn a place in the #B04eSports team. Through an application phase and two tournaments plus a grand final event at the BayArena, two talented youngsters will be selected and will receive an eSports talent contract including six months of coaching.

The first trophy in the history of Black and Red eSports: At the VBL International Series, an EA FC tournament, where German clubs and the winners of regional football tournaments worldwide form teams and find an international champion in a big finals tournament in Germany. Commitment under the Cross: Werkself player Edmond Tapsoba has set up the 'Fondation Edmond Tapsoba' in his home country Burkina Faso. The defender's foundation, based in Ouagadougou, aims to provide sustainable support to a wide range of people in different circumstances. Bayer 04 is Wiesdorf: School workshop with Tah on racism
Whether at school, in grassroots sports or at the football stadium – racism and discrimination of all kinds are still prevalent in our society. For this reason, Bayer 04 has been organising preventative school workshops on the subject of racism for many years. This week, one of these workshops took place at the Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium not far from the BayArena as part of the Wiesdorf district matchday - and with a prominent guest: Werkself star Jonathan Tah worked intensively with the pupils on the topic. International Women's Day: Stadium announcer Pitti Dahl – the woman with the mic
She was the first female stadium announcer in the Bundesliga and the only one for a long time: Petra 'Pitti' Dahl has been the voice at the BayArena home games since 2009. She was born in Leverkusen and also works in the marketing department at Bayer 04. In an interview with bayer04.de, she talks on this special day about her role as a woman at a football stadium, the relevance of diversity at a football club and the significance of International Women's Day for her.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen is entering the next two seasons with a new premium and tyre partner. CEAT, India's leading tyre manufacturer who operate around the world, is joining the Bundesliga champions and DFB Cup holders with immediate effect. CEAT succeeds previous tyre partner Kumho Tire after the successful cooperation with the South Koreans ended as planned at the end of last season. Lerros new Bayer 04 fashion partner
Bayer 04 Leverkusen are entering the 2024/25 season with a new premium partner and main eSports sponsor. Men's outfitter Lerros will now be the exclusive fashion partner for the Werkself and will also be the first sponsor and supporter of Bayer 04's eSports division. The agreement with Lerros is currently set to run for two seasons. The company was previously already active as a partner in the sponsors' club.

The champions of Germany and DFB Pokal winners Bayer 04 Leverkusen have agreed a long-term extension to the partnership with the lighting company LEDVANCE in place since the 2022/23 season. He was one of the most colourful characters in the Bundesliga in the 1990s and established himself as an idiosyncratic coach with the qualities of an entertainer. He was the first top striker in recent Bayer 04 history: Matthias Brücken made a significant contribution to promotion to the Bundesliga with his 24 goals in the 1978/79 season.
