At the Lions Club, we go all out for our youngest fans. Our mascot, Brian the Lion, looks after his “lion pride” just as devotedly as Lions Club patron and Werkself goalkeeper Mark Flekken. First things first—your ticket priority: Only members can purchase tickets for Bayer 04’s home and away games—and long-time members (who joined before July 1, 2022) have priority!
So the longer your membership lasts and the longer you’ve been a member, the more it pays off. In the event of cancellation or resignation, these and all other benefits of your membership will be completely forfeited. Upon rejoining, your membership period will start over, and you will initially not have full ticket purchase rights again.

Kindergarten on match days
Would you like to watch one of our Werkself’s games at the BayArena with your whole family—and bring even the youngest members along? No problem!
For all Bundesliga home games with kickoff times up to and including 5:30 p.m., we offer professional childcare*.
In the Lion Club room on the west side of the BayArena, we’ve got everything a child could want. This service is free for our youngest Lion Club members ages 3 to 8. Our team will welcome the children starting one hour before kickoff. Food and drinks are, of course, provided.
Registration for the daycare program is available HERE every Monday, two weeks before the respective home game. The daycare admission ticket will now be sent electronically. It is valid exclusively for the daycare area and not for the stands.

Lions Club at Your Daycare Center
The Lions Club is committed to encouraging a love of physical activity from an early age through various activities and events. That’s why the Bayer 04 soccer school “Kleine ganz groß” visits daycare centers in Leverkusen and the surrounding area.
The focus is on important topics such as early violence prevention and inclusion. During our visits to the daycare centers, our trained staff teaches the children the basics of playing with a ball. Of course, the focus isn’t just on soccer, but on all kinds of physical activity and playing with balls.
In addition to the hands-on activities, both the participating children and the daycare centers can look forward to a little surprise.
Season ticket for children
If you have a children’s season ticket, you can easily transfer it to a child of your choice. As a special bonus, the child will automatically receive a free membership in the Lions Club! You can find all the associated benefits further up.
Bayer 04 will handle the transfer of the season ticket directly. All you need to do is fill out the form at the link below.
To transfer the season ticket, it must be on the purchaser’s account, and the purchaser must enter their membership number in the form above. Since children do not have access to the Bayer 04 app, the ticket will still appear in your app even after the transfer. This is therefore a formal transfer of the season ticket.
This way, your season ticket not only serves as an admission ticket but also marks the start of the youngest fans’ journey into the Bayer 04 family!

Season launch: Club members take on the players at UHS
Have you always wanted to test your skills against the Werkself players? At the 2026 season launch on Saturday 8 August, as a Bayer 04 Club member, you have the chance to make that dream come true! Apply now, up to and including Sunday 2 August, and secure your place to take on Bundesliga players in a wide variety of challenges on the pitch at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium. The selected Club members will also each receive two tickets for the season launch.

Great moments for our youngest fans: As part of the 2026 season launch on Saturday 8 August, the Bayer 04 men’s and women’s Bundesliga teams will once again be greeted by a Löwenclub guard of honour before their pre-season friendlies. Are you a member of the Löwenclub and would like to see the Werkself players up close? Then apply now, by Sunday 2 August, for one of these coveted places! Vote now for your 2025/26 Player of the Season
With sixth place at the end of the 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign, Bayer 04 ended a season in the top third of the table for the ninth time in a row. While the Werkself were narrowly eliminated in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 by eventual finalists Arsenal, the Black and Reds reached the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal for the third season in succession. As in previous years, you once again have the opportunity to vote for your Player of the Season. Voting is exclusively for Bayer 04 Club members and only via the Bayer 04 app up to and including 11 June.

With 46 points in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga, the Bayer 04 Women’s team once again broke the previous season's club record and ended up in fifth place - 15 wins is also a record. As in previous years, you now have the opportunity to vote for your Player of the Season. Voting is open exclusively to Bayer 04 Club members and only via the Bayer 04 app by 11 June.

Successful season finale: Members event at the BayArena
Standing on the pitch where the Werkself players perform - for many Bayer 04 club members, this wish became reality at this year's Members' kickabout. Around 400 active participants of all ages took the opportunity to experience the BayArena from a new and special perspective. And there was also plenty going on in the stands: The event attracted more than 1,000 visitors in total and provided an atmospheric end to the season.
