Fanwelt
The 700 square-metre shopping and fan experience with the best view of the pitch at the BayArena, which opened in November 2024, is a special attraction for all Werkself fans. Bayer 04 fans cannot only discover a comprehensive range of merchandise. The Fanwelt also has special interactive experiences for all fans as well as the opportunity to get up close to the trophies won by the Werkself.
About the Fanwelt:
The 700 plus square metres provide Bayer 04 fans with a state-of-the-art, interactive shopping and fan experience. Black and Red fans are invited to enjoy an exciting day in this completely revamped area. The Bayer 04 Fanwelt gives fans the opportunity to buy jerseys as well as a large and exclusive range of other attractive merchandise.
In addition, there are special interactive experiences: Devotees of Bayer 04 can, for example, have a selfie (augmented reality selfie) with their favourite players at a digital photo booth. Trophies won by the Black and Reds can be admired and photographed close-up.
The Fanwelt also stages other events – including TV reports, matchdays for the Bayer 04 eSports players in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) as well as BayArena tours.

- Monday to Friday: 10.00-19.04 (CET/CEST)
- Saturday: 10.00-18.00 (CET/CEST)
- Sundays and bank holidays: closed
Special opening hours will be communicated in advance.
On home matchdays:

Always open at 10:00 for all visitors (except Sunday matchdays).

The Fanwelt closes to all visitors three hours before kick-off.

The Fanwelt opens again for all ticket holders when the stadium opens up to kick-off.
- The Fanwelt is closed during matches.

The Fanwelt opens again from 80 minutes to about one hour after full time.
- Sunday matchdays: For homes games on a Sunday the Fanwelt is open to all ticket holders.
Directions
The Fanwelt is on the south side of the BayArena and is accessible on non-matchdays via car, public transport and bicycle. Further information on directions, including on Werkself matchdays, can be found on the directions to the BayArena page.
Please note: Wheelchair users and visitors with prams can use the lift at the south reception a few metres behind the main entrance to the Fanwelt.

There are always special offers and campaigns for Werkself fans at the Fanwelt. In addition to merch of the week and the matchday cracker there are also items that are exclusively available to buy at the Fanwelt.

Service
Our service desk is open every day during opening hours at the Fanwelt. We are happy to answer all questions relating to Bayer 04. On Wednesdays, between 10:00 and 19:04, Bayer 04 Club staff members will be on hand to help with questions relating to membership. Of course, you can also sign up for membership at the Fanwelt.

Fanwelt closed on 30 June
To all Bayer 04 fans: The Fanwelt will be closed all day next Monday 30 June. This is due to preparations for the change of kit supplier from Castore to New Balance on Tuesday 1 July.

Fanzone official launch – 'First impression: Simply wow!'
The brand-new Bayer 04 Fanzone in the South Stand at the BayArena has opened for all Werkself fans. The official launch of the 700 square metre plus state-of-the-art interactive shopping and world of experience on Wednesday afternoon followed an exclusive event the night before. The symbolic starting shot was made by special honoured guests before several hundred fans were able to gain their first impressions of the numerous products and interactive facilities – and the response has been very positive.

Fanzone opens on 20 November: A highlight for all Bayer 04 supporters
The Bayer 04 Fanzone opens in two days time on Wednesday, 20 November in the South Stand at the BayArena. Bayer 04 fans will be able to enjoy a state-of-the-art, interactive shopping and fan experience covering more than 700 square metres. Black and Reds supporters are warmly welcome to spend an exciting day in this brand-new area at the stadium.
