Partnership extension: NRG24 joins Bayer 04 Sponsors Club

The double and Supercup winners Bayer 04 Leverkusen have extended the partnership with business partners NRG24. The energy adviser, with their HQ in Gütersloh, has extended their contract due to run out at the end of the 2024/25 season by twelve months and they are now in the Sponsors Club of the champions of Germany. NRG24 is a fully independent service provider both for domestic households, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and for large companies.

The contractual content for the new partner in the Sponsors Club include advertising on the LED advertising display on the upper tier at the BayArena for Werkself Bundesliga home games. In addition, NRG24 has a comprehensive presence throughout the ground including on video screens in the VIP areas at the stadium in Leverkusen. A box in the South Stand at the BayArena, super banners and VIP trips for Werkself European away games are also part of the contract that runs to 30 June 2026.

2-2 at Augsburg – Werkself secure late point

Bayer 04 earned a 2-2 draw at FC Augsburg on Bundesliga Matchday 3 with a late equaliser. The Werkself led at half-time through Christian Kofane's strike but the hosts, who went in the game as league leaders, turned it around with a quickfire double from Michael Gregoritsch after the break. The Black-and-Reds didn't give up, though, and salvaged a point thanks to substitute Patrik Schick's flick in the 89th minute.
