#B04SCF: match facts

The Werkself are unbeaten in exactly three quarters of their 52 competitive matches against Freiburg to date. Bayer 04 have won 24 games, the last of which was at home last season thanks to a four-goal haul from Patrik Schick. The Black and Reds are also proving to be reliable scorers in this Bundesliga season, being the only club other than Bayern Munich to take the lead in every game and scoring the most goals in the opening quarter of an hour in the league.

Leverkusen set-pieces have very often seen the ball end up in the opposition net: seven goals from set-pieces puts them second in the rankings in the Bundesliga with Freiburg in third spot. The Sunday afternoon game at the BayArena promises to be a real battle, as Bayer 04 and SC Freiburg are the two most competitive teams in the top flight.

focus on sc freiburg

SC Freiburg's false start in the Bundesliga has long since been consigned to history. Coach Julian Schuster's team has not lost since the end of August. In addition, the team from the Breisgau recharged their batteries last Thursday in the UEFA Europa League. And things are also looking good in terms of personnel at SCF, where a midfielder could return to the line-up in Leverkusen. Find out who that is and much more in our lowdown on the next opponents HERE.

jersey competition for a good cause

Fans have until 29 November to enter for their chance to win a signed away jersey from the Kasper Hjulmand team as well as a signed Bayer 04 Women's away kit. Each ticket will then entered in a lottery, from which two winners will be drawn after the deadline. Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Tafel Leverkusen e.V. as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations. Further information can be found HERE.

Osmers is the ref

Of the 19 games so far officiated by Harm Osmers, the Werkself have won eleven, drawn four and lost four. Bayer 04 have won all of their last five Bundesliga matches with Osmers in charge, including the 5-0 win over Werder Bremen, which secured the first league title in the club's history. This time, the 40-year-old will be assisted by Dominik Schaal and Christian Gittelmann. Florian Badstübner will be the fourth official and Johann Pfeifer will act as the video assistant referee.

DAZN and Werkself Radio

The match will be shown live on DAZN. In addition, Werkself Radio with commentators Niko Hartmann and Florian Bechholz will broadcast live from the BayArena. The audio broadcast will begin half an hour before kick-off. As usual, live text updates will also keep you in the picture so you don't miss any of the match action.
