The players completed orthopaedic examinations, a jump analysis, spiroergometry on the treadmill and other tests in small groups throughout the day at the Werkstatt.
Robert Andrich said after his turn: “We've recovered well in the last few weeks, and today it was pretty good again, but that's how it should be. Now it's time to get down to work. We're really looking forward to the season.”
The Werkself will have more tests and examinations throughout Monday before heading to the airport in the evening as they depart on their 10-day training camp in Rio de Janeiro, which includes a friendly against Flamengo’s U20s and many more activities in Brazil.

For the opening match in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga on Saturday, 6 September (kick-off: 17:45 CEST) the Werkself have organised a watch party at the Schwadbud. While the team led by coach Roberto Pätzold face Bayern Munich in front of 45,000 spectators at the Allianz Arena, supporters can also provide vocal support from back home. There will also be a star prize raffled amongst everyone taking part.

The previous Executive Box partner pure.energy has extended their commitment and taken the established partnership with the current German runners-up to the next highest level. The newly defined cooperation between Bayer 04 and pure.energy is set to run for two years to 30 June 2027.
