Kossounou and Andrich sidelined for season run-in
Bayer 04 Leverkusen will have to manage without Odilon Kossounou and Robert Andrich for the rest of the 2022/23 campaign.
Kossounou suffered a muscle injury in his right thigh on Thursday night in the 1-0 defeat against AS Roma in the Europa League semi-final first leg. Andrich picked up a fractured metatarsal in his left foot in the closing stages of the match at the Stadio Olimpico.
The diagnoses were the outcome of medical examination of the two Werkself players on Friday afternoon immediately after their return flight to Germany from Rome.

The Denmark international follows in the footsteps of former captain Elisa Senß, who won the fan poll in both 2022/23 and 2023/24. With more than 1,400 votes cast, Kramer just edged teammate Karolina Lea Vilhjalmsdottir into second place.
