Kossounou and Andrich sidelined for season run-in
Bayer 04 Leverkusen will have to manage without Odilon Kossounou and Robert Andrich for the rest of the 2022/23 campaign.
Kossounou suffered a muscle injury in his right thigh on Thursday night in the 1-0 defeat against AS Roma in the Europa League semi-final first leg. Andrich picked up a fractured metatarsal in his left foot in the closing stages of the match at the Stadio Olimpico.
The diagnoses were the outcome of medical examination of the two Werkself players on Friday afternoon immediately after their return flight to Germany from Rome.

Former Borussia captain with international experience: Jonas Omlin profile
Welcome to Leverkusen, Jonas Omlin. Bayer 04 have signed the 32-year-old goalkeeper on loan from Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach until the end of the season. Managing director sport Simon Rolfes described the Swiss shot stopper, signed by the Werkself in reaction to the long-term absence of first choice keeper Mark Flekken, as an "internationally experienced keeper."
