The evening began in the Mixed Zone at the BayArena. Following the reception and opening remarks, Fernando Carro, CEO at Bayer 04, and Managing Director Sport Simon Rolfes spoke about the current situation at the Werkself and looked ahead to the new season together with the guests.
Afterwards, the focus was primarily on personal interaction – with plenty of time for conversation, food and drinks. The Bayer 04 management gathered together with the partner representatives on the touchline at the BayArena. The presence of head coach Carles Martínez and several players, including captain Edmond Tapsoba, Patrik Schick, Aleix Garcia, Mark Flekken, Afonso Moreira and Miguel Gutiérrez, also helped to create a particularly friendly atmosphere.
A successful event ahead of the Werkself Bundesliga opener at the weekend away to SV 07 Elversberg.
