As a left-footed player, her composure on the ball, strong build-up play, pace and aggression mean she has exactly the qualities we're looking for in our style of play,” said Bayer 04 Women sporting director Achim Feifel: “We're convinced she'll take the next step and quickly adapt to the level of the Bundesliga. That's why we're delighted to have brought Emily in and to have another player with great potential at our disposal.”

Once completed – expected to be in the summer of 2027 – the project will be run in partnership with TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen e.V.
