
Alfa-Ruprecht, who is 1.81 metres tall, was on loan at Bundesliga 2 side VfL Bochum in the 2025/26 campaign. His contract at Leverkusen runs until 30 June 2030.
“Farid made good progress during his year at Bochum. With another season ahead and plenty of playing time at a challenging level, we want to continue to drive his development as a footballer,” said Bayer 04 Director of Football, Kim Falkenberg.
The 20-year-old winger hopes to improve his prospects at Bayer 04 over the long term with the move to Berlin: “That’s my goal. Wearing the cross on my chest in the Bundesliga and European competitions in the future is a big dream I’d love to fulfil.”

Farid Alfa-Ruprecht is going out on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Bundesliga 2 side Hertha Berlin. The pacy winger will be at the Berlin club for one year.
