"Unfortunately, Paulina has had very little playing time with us. That's why it's great that the loan to her home city of Hamburg, close to her family, has come about," said Achim Feifel, Bayer 04 Women's team sporting director. "Hopefully she'll have the opportunity to push her development forward with significantly more appearances. That's essential for a young player like her."
The former captain of the Germany U19 team joined Bayer 04 from Eimsbütteler TV in 2023, having previously played for HSV. She has made 24 appearances for the Bayer 04 Women’s team, including three in the DFB Pokal.
Special events for a special match: Bayer 04 are offering fans a varied programme of events at tonight’s home game in the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga against German champions Bayern Munich (kick-off: 18:00 CEST).
