Martin Terrier was shown a red card for a serious foul on 37 minutes in last Saturday's (17 August) Supercup final against VfB Stuttgart (4-3 on penalties). The DFB has imposed a ban on the Frenchman for the next two club cup matches.
Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has been banned for one DFB Pokal game and given a fine of €25,000 for unsporting behaviour after the end of the same game.

Bayer 04 won the DFB Pokal for the first time in 1993 with that logo on their chests – Talcid was the official jersey sponsor of the Werkself from 1991 to 1995.
