New Chapter, Same Spirit: Bayer 04 and New Balance present 2025/26 third kit

The focal point here is a design of overlapping crosses, which form an abstract interpretation of the iconic Bayer Cross and convey the long history of the club and city with a modern look.

"The design of the jersey combines the 120-year plus history with a modern, bold design that represents the city today," said Kenny McCallum, Senior Director of New Balance Football Product. "From the powerful shade of blue to the striking print, this jersey represents a symbol of innovation and pride for everybody associated with the club."

"Our new third kit in blue and cyan is an expressive, modern jersey that reflects Bayer 04 in a stylish way. This jersey is more than an item of clothing – with the cross design it's an expression of our identity in an inspirational city of colour," said Marcus Breglec, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Bayer 04.

The jersey is made of 100% recycled polyester. The Bayer 04 logo stands out on the left side of the chest and the logo of New Balance is on the right. Werkself is written on the collar. The left sleeve features the logo of the Werkself sleeve partner Niedax Group and the main sponsor BarmeniaGothaer is represented on the chest.

Like all New Balance jerseys, the third jersey has NB Dry Technology, the advanced material that wicks moisture away and breathable mesh inserts providing comfort, fit and function at a top level.

The new jersey is available in children's sizes (JS – JXL) for €69.90 and in adult sizes (S – 5XL) for €94.90. There is also the elite version, which is identical to the player edition to be worn by the Werkself in the 2025/26 season, at the price of €139.90 (sizes S – 3XL). The third kit is available now from the Bayer 04 Fanwelt and from the Bayer 04 online shop.
