Following on from the black and red striped home shirt, recalling the great 2001/02 season, and the white away shirt with the Bergisch lion delicately worked in, the ultramarine blue away shirt completes the Werkself kit line-up for 2021/22. And it will not only stand out on the pitch: While the badge has a smart monochrome look on the left of the shirt, there is a dynamic flair with green appliqué on the sleeves, collar and the sides from the chest to the waist.

The base pattern of this away kit is formed, as with the home and away shirts, by simple, vertical stripes.
The away shirt is available now from the Bayer 04 online shop and the fan shop in Leverkusen City (Wiesdorf). It is available in sizes 128 to 5XL and costs €59.90 in children's sizes and €79.90 in adult sizes.

The media wanted to know if Malik Tillman had thought back in September and the team’s indifferent start to the season that they would go into the winter break in third place with 29 points from 15 games.
