Bayer 04’s new year schedule: Open training session on 4 January

After a two-week winter break, the Werkself resume training on Sunday, 4 January. The first session in 2026 at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium starts at 11:00 and is open to fans. Bayer 04 look forward to welcoming supporters at the start of 2026. The Werkself schedule for the new year.

The team will meet for the first time in the new year on the afternoon of Saturday, 3 January at the BayArena.

The first full training session is at 11:00 CET on 4 January at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium and is open to fans to come and watch.

Key dates to start 2026:

  • Saturday, 3 January (afternoon): Team return (not public)
  • Sunday, 4 January (11:00): Open training session at the Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion
  • Saturday, 10 January (18:30): First competitive fixture at home to VfB Stuttgart

Bayer 04 Women also return for training on Sunday, 4 January with an open session at Kurtekotten from 15:30.

  • 10-17 January: Training camp in Faro, Portugal
  • Friday, 23 January (18:30): First competitive fixture away at Union Berlin
