As part of the Bayer Sports Family, Bayer 04 are moving closer together to the Bayer sports clubs and Bayer AG. This historic connection is being revived with joint events like the Bayer Sports Family matchday and the Bayer Sports Family week.
Bayer 04 will provide updates on the different team and individual sports, for example with important competitions and events. And the athletes from the Giants, Werkselfen, Volleys and co. will regularly be integrated into our reporting: From the Werkself Magazin via Werkself TV and the Bayer 04 app through to the social media channels with over ten million followers. The highlight is the content format Bayer Sports Family duel where Bayer 04 first team players compete against TSV Bayer athletes in their disciplines.
In addition, the Fußball GmbH, Bayer sports clubs and Bayer AG have plans for the future to further strengthen the partnership.

A first under the Cross: The special edition Bayer Sports Family shirt
The special edition Bayer Sports Family shirt pays homage to sport in the city of Leverkusen. Ahead of the forthcoming Bayer Sports Family matchday at the Werkself Bundesliga home game against Mainz 05 (Friday, 23 February, 20.30 CET), Bayer 04 Club members can secure this limited edition shirt now at the Bayer 04 fan shops and the online club shop.

Over 100-year commitment to sport: Bayer AG entered in Laureus Sport For Good Index
Recognition for outstanding sporting commitment: Bayer AG is one of 30 companies and brands entered in the Sport For Good Index by the world-renowned Laureus Foundation. The company from Leverkusen received the award for their 100-year sporting commitment in professional, amateur and parasports. Bayer AG thereby shows it corporate responsibility in the areas inclusion, diversity and health.

30,000 fans at the BayArena, atmospheric support from the stands and a convincing home win for the Werkself: The background could not have been better for the first Bayer 04 Bayer Sports Family matchday. The large number of events around the 5-1 win against SV Darmstadt 98 on Bundesliga matchday three in the 2023/24 season again featured the historic and passionately felt connection between Bayer 04, TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Bayer AG under the Cross.

The first Bayer Sports Family matchday is coming up: A large range of events involving the Bayer sports clubs and Bayer AG will provide a special background to the Werkself home game against SV Darmstadt 98 (Saturday 2 September, 15.30 CEST). The programme of the matchday starts with the stadium opening at 13.30 CEST and there will be a wide variety of highlights on the concourse at the BayArena.
