The former captain of the Germany U19 team joined Leverkusen from Eimsbütteler TV in the summer of 2023 after having previously played for Hamburg SV. She has made 17 appearances for Bayer 04 to date. Last season Bartz was sidelined for months due to illness.
“I’m very happy at Bayer 04 and I want to develop here in the coming years and get more time on the pitch than I’ve had up to now,” said Bartz: “I will give everything with the team for us to top least season’s impressive campaign.”
Bayer 04 Leverkusen and the leading gardening equipment manufacturer STIGA have extended their successful partnership. As an official partner in the Sponsors Club of the Champions League participants, STIGA has already provided support to the Bayer 04 ground staff in the maintenance of the pitch at the BayArena as well as the other club training grounds. Under the new agreement, the company, based in Straelen in North Rhine Westphalia, has agreed a two-year extension with the current Bundesliga runners-up and 2024 double winners. The contract now runs to 30 June 2027.
