Around 100 fans gathered in the courtyard of the team hotel, the Spa & GolfResort Weimarer Land, for coffee and cake. In a relaxed atmosphere, Carro and Rolfes answered questions from the Bayer 04 supporters. Among other things, Carro spoke about his role as CEO of a football club: “This job is great fun. You’re on the move a lot, so you have very little free time. But ultimately, we do this job to make you, the fans, happy. That’s what motivates us. While the players are responsible for success on the pitch, we can increase the likelihood of success.”

With Rolfes, the questions focused, amongst other things, on the targets for the new season. The managing director sport once again praised the conditions in the Weimarer Land region.
To round off the meeting, a few fans took the floor once more to express their gratitude for the work carried out so far by the Bayer 04 managing directors and for winning the double in 2024. After loud applause and a few closing remarks, Carro and Rolfes then took time out to pose for selfies and sign autographs. The Bayer 04 managing directors finally bid farewell to the fans in glorious sunshine and with temperatures well over 20 degrees.
