Mario ‘Bulji’ Lovrinovic faced Khalid ‘KHALIDGRL03’ Gürel in the second game that ended up in a 3-1 win for the KSC eSports players. That meant the Round of 16 tie would go down to the final 2vs2 game: Lovrinovic and Kayacik won 2-1.
The quarter-finals in the DFB eCup are on 16 June. It remains to be seen over the Leverkusen eSports players will face.

Vanessa Fudalla (3’), Valentina Mädl (6’) and Carlotta Wamser (61’) scored to earn a hard-fought 3-2 victory against ambitious promoted side Union Berlin. In front of 996 spectators at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium, the Berliners were able to get into the game after a tremendous start by the Werkself. In the final minutes of the game, Leverkusen fought hard to hold on to the first three points of the season.
