The Werkself eSports players started the evening with the fixture against Hannover on matchday 27 – with a 2 vs 2 between Marc ‘MARC_LDW23’ Landwehr and Furkan ‘FURKY’ Kayacik in action for Leverkusen and the Hannover 96 eSports players Riad ‘H96_RIAD’ Fazlija and Ajdin ‘H96_AJDIN’ Islamovic. That game ended in a 2-1 win for the Black and Reds. The following 1 vs 1 saw the Hannover player Islamovic beat Landwehr 2-0. The second 1 vs 1 game between Fazlija and Mario ‘BULJI; Lovrinovic ended with a 3-1 loss for Leverkusen. And the overall result was also a defeat for the Black and Reds.
WIN AGAINST Schalke 04
Then came the encounter with Schalke 04. Landwehr and Kayacik started against Serhat ‘SERHATINHO’ Öztürk and Max ‘ANTIMAX’ Eggenkämper. The Leverkusen team won the 2 vs 2 game 3-1. Landwehr then faced Eggenkämper in a 1 vs 1 and the game ended in a 3-0 victory for Leverkusen. That secured a matchday win for the #B04eSports players who are now ninth in the table in the North West division.
As with the two fixtures from last week plus those from last night, all further matches for the #B04eSports players in the Club Championship of the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) will be streamed live on the Bayer 04 app.
The #B04eSports-Team are back in action in the VBL Club Championship next Tuesday 28 February: Matchday 29 brings the the duels with Hertha Berlin. That starts at 18.00 CET. On the final VBL matchday (30) the Leverkusen eSports players meet Werder Bremen (from 19.30 CET).
