Marc Landwehr – eSports player

At just 18 years of age, Marc ‘MARC_LDW23’ Landwehr joined the #B04eSports squad for the start of the 2020/21 season in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL). He took part in several online tournaments organised by Bayer 04 in the past and always achieved impressive results, which put him in the frame for a place in the Bayer 04 eSports squad. "Primarily, I want to develop, integrate well in the team and learn a lot from the experienced players,” said Landwehr at the start of his career with the Black and Reds. Now he counts as an old hand himself.

Landwehr grew up in Leverkusen and he has been a passionate fan of the Werkself since childhood. Day-to-day in his work he cares for other people as an enrolled nurse and he also plays football in goal in his free time.
