#B04eSports: Five draws on the night

Following the one-week break in the VBL Club Championship, the Bayer 04 eSports players were unable to end the night with an overall victory: On matchday 15, Leverkusen had to settle for a 5-2 defeat against Schalke 04 before drawing 3-3 with VfL Bochum. One oddity: There were five games without a winner in the six matches played (four 1-v-1s and two 2-v-2s) on the double matchday.

The first encounter of the evening between #B04eSports player Marc ‘MARC_LDW23’ Landwehr and Schalke’s Julius ‘JULI’ Kühle in the youngsters' duel on PlayStation 5 ended in a 1-1 draw. The following Xbox 1-v-1 involving Fabian ‘B04_DUBZJE’ de Cae was the only game of the night that produced a winner. The Leverkusen player was on the wrong end of a 6-1 scoreline against the Schalke eSports player Serhat ‘SERHATINHO’ Öztürk. The following 2-v-2, with Paul ‘B04_PAUL’ Degner playing alongside Landwehr, ended all square at 0-0.

two games without goals against Bochum

The games against Bochum followed later in the evening. Landwehr's 1-v-1 on PS5 ended with a 2-2 draw, da Cae’s game on Xbox and the final 2-v-2 encounter produced goalless draws.
