DFL schedules Matchdays 1 to 5 – Primetime slot for Leipzig clash

The German Football League (DFL) has confirmed the dates and kick-off times for the first five matchdays of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season. Full details of the Bayer 04 fixtures.

It was already known that the German champions will open Matchday 1 at Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday 23 August at 20:30*.

two saturday evening meetings

That's followed by the first home match of the new season against RB Leipzig. The headline fixture of Matchday 2 kicks off at 18:30 on Saturday 31 August.

Following the international break, the meeting at TSG Hoffenheim on Matchday 3 takes place on Saturday 14 September at 15:30. The Matchday 4 encounter at home to VfL Wolfsburg is scheduled for Sunday 22 September at 15:30.

Finally, the away match at record champions FC Bayern Munich is the primetime fixture of Matchday 5, kicking off at 18:30 on Saturday 28 September.
