"Jonas completes our goalkeeping trio following Mark's absence. With him, Janis Blaswich and Niklas Lomb, we are now ready for the challenges of the coming weeks and months."
Omlin joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2023 from Montpellier HSC, who were in Ligue 1 at the time. The four-time Switzerland international has played 36 games for the Foals to date. "I'm delighted a club like Bayer 04 Leverkusen have placed their trust in me. A Champions League club with big ambitions - it's a great challenge to support my new team and play my part in helping to achieve he goals they’ve set themselves," said Omlin, who will wear the number 18 jersey at Bayer 04.

Just in time for the start of the school year, everyone was hard at work again at NaturGut Ophoven. For the 21st time, Bayer 04 have supported the annual ‘BioBrotbox’ campaign, which puts together a healthy breakfast for first-year primary school pupils in Leverkusen – and not only contributed 1,904 muesli bars but also plenty of enthusiasm too: Together with the U19 players Burak Kir and Clinton Wilson, Emily Wallrabenstein and Paulina Platner from the Women’s Bundesliga team helped with the packing. The latter was clearly delighted “that Bayer 04 are helping out with regional projects like this and showing their commitment to the local community”.
