Numerous Bayer 04 players in 2024/25 Team of the Season

Bayer 04 are again strongly represented in this year's Bundesliga Team of the Season from the games manufacturer EA Sports. Five Werkself players have been voted into the top XI for the 2024/25 season, a duo from the Bayer 04 Women's team are in the female Bundesliga TOTS. Bayer 04 were well represented last season with six male players in the top eleven, the most players from one club.

From Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Tah are in the first XI of the 2024/25 Bundesliga Team of the Season. Patrik Schick, Piero Hincapie and Alejandro Grimaldo extend the team. It is the first time Schick has been in the top 11 of the season.

Honourable Mentions – Duo in women's TOTS

Other Werkself players that just missed out on making the team will have a special card in EA FC 25 as part of the Honourable mentions. That includes Jeremie Frimpong.

Kristin Kögel and Cornelia Kramer have been voted into the Women's Bundesliga 2024/25 Team of the Season for their performances with the Bayer 04 Women's team. Kögel is in the first XI, Kramer extends the team as Newcomer of the Season.

 

The men's Bundesliga 2024/25 Team of the Season:

  • Defence: Jonathan Tah, Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, Nico Schlotterbeck
  • Midfield: Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise

Who makes it into the Bundesliga Team of the Season is decided by a panel. This is made up of – as with the monthly votes for Bundesliga Player of the Month and Bundesliga Rookie of the Month – fans (weighting: 40%), the team captains of the 18 Bundesliga clubs (weighting: 30%) as well as a group of pundits (weighting: 30%) consisting of Bundesliga legends and selected media partners.
