They replace Rainer Meyer (64), former head of management accounting at Bayer, and Dr. Roland Hartwig (62), former head legal advisor at Bayer AG, who leave their posts in the company after retiring from their posts in the Bayer group.
The shareholders’ committee will be made up of the following members from 1 January 2017: Chairman Werner Wenning, supervisory body chair at Bayer AG, Klaus Beck, CEO of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Bernd-Peter Bier, Head of Accounting und Taxes at Bayer AG, Dr. Gabriel Harnier, General Counsel of Bayer AG, Wolfgang Holzhäuser, former CEO of Bayer 04 Fußball GmbH, Dr. Michael Preuss, Head of Corporate Brand, Communications and Government Relations at Bayer AG.
Under the motto ‘Sound of Dreams - #aCROSS Europe 2025/26’, Bayer 04 are turning this season's UEFA Champions League season into a festival. This afternoon, Saturday 24 January (kick-off: 15.30 CET), Bayer 04 host SV Werder Bremen, who are winless in their last seven league games.
