New appointments to shareholders’ committee

Personnel changes on the Bayer 04 Fußball GmbH shareholders’ committee: Bernd-Peter Bier (50), Head of Accounting and Taxes at Bayer AG, and Dr. Gabriel Harnier (45), General Counsel for the Bayer group, have been appointed to the club’s supervisory body with effect from 1 January 2017.

They replace Rainer Meyer (64), former head of management accounting at Bayer, and Dr. Roland Hartwig (62), former head legal advisor at Bayer AG, who leave their posts in the company after retiring from their posts in the Bayer group.

The shareholders’ committee will be made up of the following members from 1 January 2017: Chairman Werner Wenning, supervisory body chair at Bayer AG, Klaus Beck, CEO of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Bernd-Peter Bier, Head of Accounting und Taxes at Bayer AG, Dr. Gabriel Harnier, General Counsel of Bayer AG, Wolfgang Holzhäuser, former CEO of Bayer 04 Fußball GmbH, Dr. Michael Preuss, Head of Corporate Brand, Communications and Government Relations at Bayer AG.
