Last international break in 2020: Eleven Werkself players called up

Eleven Werkself players will be on the road after the Bundesliga home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach for the final international break of the calendar year in World Cup qualifiers, U21 Euro games and the Africa Cup plus friendly fixtures.

Germany coach Jogi Löw is again calling on the services of Jonathan Tah and Nadiem Amiri for his forthcoming three internationals. ‘Die Mannschaft’ have a friendly against the Czech Republic in Leipzig on Wednesday 11 November ahead of Nations League games on Saturday and Tuesday against Ukraine (also in Leipzig) and Spain in Seville.

There is a similar schedule for the two Austrians Julian Baumgartlinger and Aleksandar Dragovic: Austria have a friendly away to Luxembourg on 11 November. The duo then head off to Vienna for Nations League games, on 15 November against Northern Ireland and three days later against Norway. 

Finland, with Lukas Hradecky, also have three internationals coming up: First up is a friendly in Paris against France on 11 November before a flight to Sofia for the Nations League game against Bulgaria (15 November). They are finally away to Wales in Cardiff – also in the Nations League.

Lucas Alario and Exequiel Palacios have been called up to the Argentina squad. They have World Cup qualifiers in Buenos Aires against Paraguay (12 November) and away to Peru in Lima (18 November). Edmond Tapsoba will be playing for Burkina Faso home and away against Malawi in qualifiers for the Africa Cup on 12 November (in Ouagadougou) and 16 November (in Blantyre).

Germany U21 coach Stefan Kuntz has named his squad for the Euro qualifiers against Slovenia on 12 November and Wales on 17 November and – once again – Lennart Grill and Florian Wirtz are in the frame. Both games will be played in Braunschweig. The U21 France team are also in Euro qualifiers. Moussa Diaby has again been called up for the games in Liechtenstein (12 November in Vaduz) and against Switzerland (16 November in Caen).
