Kids aged from 6 to 14 had all put on Bayer 04 home shirts and they could hardly wait for Robert Andrich to come out of the dressing room to join them. After greetings, the children had the opportunity to put questions to the 27-year-old midfielder. "Have you ever scored a goal?," was one of the questions all of which Andrich answered in detail.
The Werkself player revealed to the children in the best of weather under a cloudless sky that the World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger had been his idol and that he was at home in the position as a striker in his childhood.
All the questions were answered after 45 minutes, all autograph and selfie requests fulfilled – and the kids at the soccer school were as happy and satisfied as Andrich himself.
