Comprehensive, structural redesigns at the BayArena are set to provide an even more intensive football experience. With their high standards of technology, the individually tailored executive boxes are ideally suited to be used for business purposes and events 365 days a year. And there have also been changes in the West Stand: The former Business Lounge is now the '19nullvier Lounge.' And it’s the place for colours: Everything is now in Black and Red.
Bayer 04 CEO Michael Schade said: "Every year we use the summer break to improve our stadium for the future in all aspects. In recent years we established the Schwadbud, opened the beer garden, redesigned the North Stand, updated the toilets and we now provide a comprehensive service with the new kiosks. Everything is esigned to make a visit to the stadium more enjoyable for our fans. This year it was the turn of the South Stand. We are completely satisfied with the result and we can offer our guests the best possible facilities to enjoy that special BayArena experience."
Jochen A.Rotthaus, director of marketing at Bayer 04: "Our stadium is amongst the most modern in Europe and now we are putting the icing on the cake. In surveys and in the Bundesliga we regularly received top marks for facilities, comfort and service but we are always trying to improve and develop. We are highly satisfied with the result and the hospitality area is, without doubt, once again absolutely state-of-the-art following the modernisation work."
The executive boxes in the South Stand can be used all year round and in their 70 m² they provide clients with high quality facilities. The most up-to-date conference technology is available. The installation of big screens (Clevertouch) with direct access to the Internet and TV is perfectly suited to presentations. A dedicated key for access according to individual requirements and preferences is part of the package as are five spaces in the underground car park to provide safe and easy parking at the BayArena.
A more intensive football experience is provided with the boxes having floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding door that allows access to seats in the stand. The provision of a balcony thereby offers a completely new football and event experience in the executive boxes in the South Stand. Maximum comfort and enjoyment of clients in the boxes is provided by separate kitchen and comfort areas.
Michael Schade: "The executive boxes in the South Stand were constructed in 1997. At that time there were no boxes in Germany – they were only to be found in the USA. Now the ‘glass box system’ is no longer what spectators want. They want to be pitch side to fully enjoy the atmosphere. That's exactly what we are now offering. In this area, we are all set up for the new season to be able to offer our spectators another plus in terms of comfort and facilities."
Bayer 04 welcome the wishes of our partners in designing the executive boxes. Whether that is corporate representation in the shape of glass cases, company logos or interior design with individual lighting concepts and individual selection of motifs – own ideas and suggestions are gratefully accepted. The offer also includes the possibility of the logo placed on bayer04.de with a link to the company website plus inclusion of the company logo in the Werks11 Magazine and the match day programme 'BayArena Aktuell'.
The VIP area in the first tier of the West Stand has been completely redesigned. Jochen A. Rotthaus explained: "Wherever Bayer 04 is to be seen then Bayer 04 should also be in it. Up to now the Business Lounge was rather neutral but now we have installed photographs of players and the walls are in our colours of Black and Red. Access to the stand is designed to reflect the players tunnel to ensure moments of excitement from the start. That is rounded off in the '19nullvier Lounge’, which now has a much stronger appearance. That's exactly what our clients asked for. They want to see a greater visual presence of Bayer 04."
On every matchday, our guests in the ‘19nullvier Lounge’ will be entertained with a full programme and culinary requirements will be met by a comprehensive catering provision. Two or more booked Business Seats qualify for a company table in the black and red lounge. Every fan can enjoy an ideal view of Werkself games from a business seat in the lower tier of the main stand. Hostesses and service personnel ensure constant attention. The companies will receive the necessary care here too. Logos on www.bayer04.de are linked to the appropriate company website.
