The meeting point for public BayArena tours is at the Service Area OST on the east side of the BayArena opposite McDonald's. Public matchday tours take place ahead of every home match. A fresh look for the BayArena: The Bayer 04 stadium will have new seating in the form of folding seats for the 2026/27 campaign that will ensure significantly improved seating comfort and simplified movement within the rows of seats. As part of routine replacement after 17 years, fans of the Werkself were able to purchase the existing seats, used to witness the first German league title in the club's history. In addition, a large proportion of the seats will be donated to charitable projects, primarily in the local region. Bayer 04 fans can look forward to new, functional folding seats for the season opener at the beginning of August - still in the club colours of black and red, of course. Another award for the Bayer 04 head groundsman and staff: After coming top in the 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2024/25 seasons, the BayArena pitch came second in the Bundesliga Pitch of the Year ranking for the 2025/26 season. VfL Wolfsburg secured the top spot this year, with TSG Hoffenheim in third place.

The United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is celebrated worldwide on 3 December. Together with Bayer AG, Bayer 04 is once again setting an example for diversity and inclusion by lighting up the BayArena in purple in the evening.

For the Bundesliga 2025/26 opener against TSG Hoffenheim at the BayArena on Saturday, Erik ten Hag, his coaches, staff and substitutes will be even closer to the home end. From now, the Bayer 04 team will be nearer to the North Stand after coming on.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen fans can look forward to a new catering concept at Werkself home games in the BayArena from summer 2026 onwards. Full-service caterer Aramark will be responsible for catering in the public and hospitality areas of the Leverkusen stadium and in the Schwadbud from the start of the 2026/27 season. In addition, the Frankfurt-based company will also provide catering for all conferences and other events at the BayArena.
