There is good news for all current and prospective season ticket holders: The number of different price categories has been reduced from six to four, which contributes to transparency and fairness in the different stands, and the prices have reduced as well. By up to 30 per cent.
“We have worked closely with the fan groups on these measures,” said Dr. Bernd Schröder, director of marketing and sales at Bayer 04. “Our common aim is to create the conditions for atmospheric and vocal support for the Werkself. We are on the right track with the measures taken.”
The are now just two price categories for the North Stand where there is the most passionate support for the team: category IV for the terraces and category III for the seats behind the goal. Category II will apply immediately to the whole of the East Stand. Adult season ticket holders in blocks B2 and B3 will benefit most from the new price structure: The new season ticket is 30 per cent cheaper than the current one.
The seats in the lower tiers in the East Stand and the main West Stand will be all-season ticket seats in the new season. In addition, current season ticket holders in the upper tier are requested to exchange their seats for one in the lower tier. Supporters are closer to the match action, their support is appreciated more by the Werkself and they also benefit from the new price model. The new season tickets reflect the most favourable prices in the upper tier.

Beyond that, Bayer 04 are looking out for youngsters – not just at the Kurtekotten Performance Centre but also when going to games at the BayArena. A youth price category for Werkself fans aged 14 to 19 will be introduced for the new season. Young supporters will save up to 40 per cent in comparison to the existing price structure.
The club automatically extended all season tickets in the last campaign. No money will be taken before the season starts. In the only home game with spectators, the 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig in September, a draw was held amongst season ticket holders. Bank accounts will only be debited when tickets are available.
At the moment it is not possible to say when changes to the season tickets will be made, when season tickets go on sale to new customers, and other detailed questions on this subject. As soon as Bayer 04 are certain of when and in what numbers fans can return to the BayArena, the club will be proactive in informing both current and prospective season ticket holders via the club’s media channels.
