Securitas Sport & Event GmbH, who took over from BaySecur GmbH, a now dissolved joint enterprise of Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH and Securitas, in 2016, is responsible for all control and security duties for Werkself home games at the BayArena. The employees of the firm, whose parent company Securitas AB is based in Sweden, also look after other events organised by Bayer 04. That includes Werkself training sessions and friendlies, press conferences as well as matches played by the Bayer 04 Women's and youth teams.
Bayer 04 can go through to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League for the ninth time tonight, 24 February (kick-off: 21:00 CET) and be in the top 16 clubs in Europe.
