Will the Werkself remain ahead of Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga table after matchday 16? The statistics definitely suggest that: Bayer 04 have won 15 of 26 games in the top-flight against TSG (five draws, six defeats) – the team from the Kraichgau have only suffered more defeats against Bayern Munich (18). In addition, the Seoane team can hope to build on their rediscovered strength at home: The last two matches at the BayArena ended in victory and that means the Black and Reds picked up as many points in those two games as in the first five home matches of the season put together.
As today's game is being played later in the evening, Bayer 04 have met up at the team hotel this afternoon instead of the evening before. A session at Bismarckstraße was followed by lunch, a final team meeting and the pre-match meal at the hotel. The Werkself are fully prepared for the top game.
