"Our longstanding partnership with EVL lives off great trust and reliability," said Felix Duden, CEO of TecArena Plus GmbH, the wholly owned subsidiary of Bayer 04 Fußball GmbH responsible for the technical care of the club's properties. "Supply security has absolute priority for Bayer 04 in order to keep the operation running. We therefore believe that the maintenance of our energy systems will continue to be in good hands with EVL in the future. At the same time, we want to make the energy supply in the stadium and all other sites more efficient and environmentally friendly," continued Duden.
EVL has been providing the Bundesliga club with electricity, district heating and water for several decades as well as handling energy-related services. "The cooperation with Bayer 04 as one of our key clients is more than just a business relationship: as a local company, it means a lot to us to work for our club and make the best contribution we can to the smooth running of the BayArena," said Thomas Eimermacher, commercial manager of EVL.
