Let's say it with some pathos: A new digital era begins for us at Bayer 04 with the launch of our new website. We've not just made one or two changes or cosmetic improvements. On the contrary, we have moved lock stock and barrel to stay in the picture. Of course, we have kept some familiar and popular pieces but otherwise it's a case of complete modernisation.
Our digital revamp gives us more and better opportunities to inform you of everything that’s happening at our club. A modern content management system (CMS) enables us to constantly update our website. The site changes considerably on matchdays. In future there will be a non-match, a pre-match and a match mode with relevant content and a dedicated appearance. According to the mode, the website automatically updates. Numerous features, media and data sources work in the background to make the website permanently and fully automatically change in terms of content.
Our editorial team provides constant input. That includes texts, films, photo galleries or social media posts. On our story page we bring everything together to to enable us to tell truly long stories in in a concise layout.
Top entertainment and up-to-the-minute information is one thing we want to provide. The other is outstanding service provision. Special offers are clearly placed.
The multilingualism of our site reflects the growing internationalisation of Bayer 04. In addition to German and English our site is also available in Spanish. Language selection is made in the head navigation bar. And if you change from German to English you don't leave the page but return to the same place you were on before. And our international pages are also updated daily so that Bayer 04 fans worldwide can keep up-to-date with events at their club.
Speaking of fans: We look forward to receiving your feedback on our new website. Let us know what you like and what you don't like and what you would like to see added. We do not see our website as a finished product. It is dynamic and intended to be constantly updated and developed. Also with your help. At Bayer04.de everybody should feel at home if they have a soft spot for the Werkself.
