Robert de Pauw – women's head coach

A title winning coach for the Bayer 04 Women's team: Robert de Pauw took over as head coach at Leverkusen for the 2022/23 season as the successor to Achim Feifel. In the previous season, the Dutchman led the FC Twente Enschede Women's team to the title in the Pure Energie Eredivisie Frouwen, the top division in women's football in the Netherlands. De Pauw, who speaks Dutch plus English, German, French and Spanish, was previously head coach of the Netherlands Women's U17 team.

Thomas Eichin, head of the Bayer 04 Youth & Women’s sections at the time of the signing, sees the UEFA A licence holder as "an ambitious and qualified coach. He brings international experience with him from his previous positions and he knows how to mould and lead a young and hungry team."
