Projects
The Bayer 04 Campus will become a beacon for the development and training of men, women and youth footballers and set standards in strategy, innovation and sustainability. The club is creating the conditions to establish itself at the top of European football in the medium and long term and to remain a sporting flagship of the Rhineland. The planned Talent House is also an important building block for the club’s future. Planning for both projects is well underway. With these investments in the future, Bayer 04 is also preparing for the period from 2031, when the upgrading of the A1 motorway will make it necessary to reorganise the site at the BayArena.

Bayer 04 is positioning itself for the future. The club is planning one of the most state-of-the-art performance centres for football in Europe. Optimum training conditions all year round for men, women and youth teams. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation at the highest level. Space for innovation, sustainable concepts and a continuously learning organisation - that will be the Bayer 04 Campus.
Talent house
Sport. School. Life.
Bayer 04 wants to optimally prepare young players for a possible career in sport and at the same time develop their academic, social and character skills. To this end, the club is breaking new ground. Together with TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH is planning the ‘Haus der Talente’ on a site in the centre of Leverkusen.
At the BayArena
Operating licence. Alternative areas. Phased concept.
Bayer 04 is already working intensively on an issue that will present many Leverkusen residents with challenges in five years' time. The upgrading of the A1 motorway will bring fundamental changes for residents and neighbours. According to current plans, construction work will begin in 2031; by 2035 at the latest, the motorway overpass will be completely removed for structural reasons. For Bayer 04, this means new solutions are needed for fire service access, emergency evacuation of the stadium and prescribed parking areas for media.
