Junior talent day in spring: Open trials on 12 April

Do you dream of wearing the Bayer cross on your chest? To play in black and red like your role models Loreen Bender, Cornelia Kramer, Kristin Kögel and co. from the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga? Then take your chance now! Our female youth teams are once again on the lookout for new talent. That's why Bayer 04 are organising a talent day on 12 April 2026 for the first time this year with trials for female juniors.
Training beim Juniorinnen-Talenttag

Talented outfield players and goalkeepers born between 2013 and 2018 from all over the region can register. Around six months after the last session with 90 participants, the talent day will be on Sunday, 12 April 2026, at the Bayer 04 Performance Centre in Kurtekotten (Otto-Bayer-Straße 2). Players from the Bayer 04 Women's Bundesliga team will once again be on hand to provide advice and support on the pitch during the trials training session. The trials afternoon starts at 13:00 CEST with training on the pitch scheduled to start at 15:30 CEST. (approx. 60 to 75 minutes).

Registration for trials training (by a parent or guardian) is possible up to Easter Monday, 6 April. Simply complete the form below and send it by e-mail to our junior scouts Heiko Pöhlandt (heiko.poehlandt@bayer04.de) and Oliver van Elst (oliver.vanelst@bayer04.de).

Important: No trials training can take place without a release note from the current club.

New seating for the BayArena - donation and reuse of existing seats

A fresh look for the BayArena: The Bayer 04 stadium will have new seating in the form of folding seats for the 2026/27 campaign that will ensure significantly improved seating comfort and simplified movement within the rows of seats. As part of routine replacement after 17 years, fans of the Werkself were able to purchase the existing seats, used to witness the first German league title in the club's history. In addition, a large proportion of the seats will be donated to charitable projects, primarily in the local region. Bayer 04 fans can look forward to new, functional folding seats for the season opener at the beginning of August - still in the club colours of black and red, of course.
