Bayer 04 Women’s DFB-Pokal tie at Karlsruhe scheduled for Sunday

The German FA (DFB) confirmed on Monday the schedule for the second round of the 2024/25 DFB-Pokal, which sees Bayer 04 Women visit Karlsruhe on Sunday, 8 September at 12pm CEST. The draw for the round took place last Tuesday.

The game will be played at the Arthur-Beier-Stadion in Karlsruhe’s Wildpark. As a Bundesliga club, the Werkself were given a bye through the first round. Should Roberto Pätzold’s side prevail against the third-tier side, they will reach the round of 16 on 22-24 November. The quarter-finals follow on 11-13 February 2025, the semi-finals on 22/23 March and then the final at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne on 1 May.

Bundesliga opener in Freiburg

Prior to commencing their cup campaign, Bayer 04 kick off the new Google Pixel Bundesliga season away at Freiburg on Saturday, 31 August (2pm). The first home game of 2024/25 against Eintracht Frankfurt is on Sunday, 15 September (2pm). Tickets for the match are available HERE.
