Kehrer scored 12 goals in 21 games in her debut season for Braga in 2022/23 and leaves the Portuguese club, who finished last year in fifth place, with a record of 29 goals in 65 competitive appearances. The right-footed 27-year-old previously spent 2021/22 at Uniao Torreense and the 2020/21 campaign with Ferencvaros in Hungary. She had earlier tasted top-flight football at Aalborg in Denmark in 2020.
“I’ve wanted to play in Germany for a long time and am convinced Bayer 04 is the perfect next step in my career,” said Kehrer. “I want to contribute to us scoring lots of goals with my finishing ability.”
