Late on in the second half, Spain doubled their lead with a strike from Paula Comendador making it 2-0 (88’) to secure a slot in the semi-finals.
For the Germany U19 side, including the Bayer 04 quintet, the European Championships ends with the group stage. Spain face England in the last four with Netherlands playing France in the other semi-final. The final is on Saturday 27 July with the kick-off at 17.00 CEST.
